Art deco piano, decorated trombone

This art deco piano appeals greatly to me as an objet d'arte, yet I confess feeling betrayed by its maker, as it strays from the classic conception. I suppose growing up in a house where classical piano was revered affects my earliest perceptions of what a piano should be.

Similarly, it seems disrespectful to the field of music itself to paint or deface an instrument.
