Potatoes and carrots and sausage - oh my!

Using the potato recipe from Saturday, I added some carrots and topped with sausages. It was messy, as the carrots completely broke down into mush, but everything was flavorful and ready within 10 minutes. I was particularly impressed by the plumpness of the sausages as they absorbed copious amounts of the broth.

Again, it was flavorful, but not texturally-appealing. I saved the leftover broth and will report how that fares in a future soup.
